Introducing the awards at the ceremony, eviivo CEO Michele Fitzpatrick commented: “We were overwhelmed by the number and quality of entries we received, and proud to see so many hosts and hoteliers across the board – from B&Bs and independent hotels to self-catering, apartment and alternative accommodation providers – doing such a fantastic job.
“There is definitely a revival of B&Bs taking place, with a fabulous range of places to stay on offer, whether it’s a windmill, houseboat, ancient inn or classic seaside guest house. It’s certainly safe to say the independent accommodation sector is thriving and providing some of the UK’s most special holiday experiences for domestic and international visitors.
“Congratulations to all the winners on their well-deserved wins, awards well earned.”
