Pub & Bar Show Event

You know that owning a bar or pub can be hectic, challenging but also rewarding. We know that finding the time to find the best partnerships, efficient processes and new innovations for you and your business can be hard – but also extremely valuable if you can get it right!

One solution is to find a trade event that can support you with this and who understand the demands and requirements of your industry. By finding the time to spend just one day (or longer if you can) at the right show, you can come away with new ideas, contacts and business prospects that could take months to build on your own.

This is why the bar and pub industry has a brand new dedicated trade event, housing a wealth of new ideas, innovations and expertise all specially tailored to the sector. The first ever The Bar & Pub Show, in partnership with The Morning Advertiser, takes place 3 – 5 October 2016 at Olympia, London.

Build your business
The Bar & Pub Show brings together the best suppliers in the industry with the movers and shakers that are transforming the UK’s bars and pubs.  A trade only event that offers commercial opportunities, knowledge development, culinary discovery and networking for anyone working in pubs and bars.

With over 450 suppliers in one place, this event puts visitors face-to-face with those who can help build their business. With products ranging from craft beer, wine, spirits and soft drinks through to furniture, services and snacks, you’ll find everything required to run a successful and profitable business.

Four shows in one

Visiting The Bar & Pub Show gives you access to three other leading hospitality industry events all under one roof:

The Restaurant Show, in association with Restaurant Magazine and Big Hospitality, is now in its 28th year. It is the renowned trade event that specifically caters to those owning, operating and working in restaurants, hotels, catering companies, cafes and leisure establishments across the UK.

Sustainability will be high on the agenda at this year’s event with the return of the Conscious Hospitality Show, a dedicated area for health, nutrition, ethical business practices and responsible sourcing.

This year The Restaurant Show also includes a new dedicated area to showcase the very best in the world of catering equipment. Catering Equipment Expo is organised by Bunzl Lockhart Catering Equipment who will bring their own ‘Trend Set’ innovations programme to the event to showcase the latest trends in the presentation of food and drink from around the world.

All four events offer an interesting line-up, with the chance to source and sample a wide range of new products. And, with access to over 450 exhibitors across 4 shows with just one badge, and a whole host of new features and live events, you’ll find everything you need to boost your hospitality business.

A lively line-up

Across all four shows visitors can experience over 45 live sessions and seven competitions with 130 competitors at our four must-see live stages, the Bar & Pub Hub, the Liquid Hub, The Stage and the Competition Theatre.

The informative programme of live events at Bar & Pub Hub will offer the chance to learn from those who are at the forefront of innovation in the industry. It will cover a range of topics and features, lively debates, interviews, demonstrations and talks from some of the industry’s most successful names including Holly & Josh Eggleton (The Pony & Trap), Simon Rimmer (Chef) and Sophie Atherton (Journalist & Accredited Beer Sommelier) to name just a few. Experience a classic culinary adventure as celebrity chef, pub owner and presenter of Sunday brunch, Simon Rimmer, offers his expert insight into the secret of great pub cooking and prepares a couple of his signature dishes.

Impressive industry names are set to take to The Stage, including Ashley Palmer Watts (The Fat Duck Group), Phil Vickery (Chef, presenter and cookery book author) and Stephen Harris (The Sportsman). Don’t miss an exclusive opportunity to see some signature dishes and creative cuisine from Chiltern Firehouse Executive Chef, Nuno Mendes, and Head Chef, Patrick Powell, whilst listening to the duo talk about their food inspiration.

High on the list of this year’s exciting new features is the Liquid Hub, the show’s purpose-built drinks destination. This is the place for learning about the latest on-trade trends, from artisan gins to UK-grown wines, a series of experts will inspire and inform in a range of intimate live sessions. Gain inspiration and insights from our industry experts, including Sarah Abbott MW and Peter McCombie MW.
